Every morning when I wake Carson up for breakfast, he gets so excited and is so happy, especially when we have pancakes (his favorite). But this morning as we started to eat our waffles, Carl got up and warmed his in the microwave and Carson would not eat his until he got the same treatment. But he had jam and whipped cream on his. So they would not fair very well in the microwave, so to make him happy, I put them in the microwave and put the alarm on timer instead of cook. 3 seconds later when the alarmed sounded I placed them in front of him and he was so happy to be just like dad.
Last night was the first night in a long time that I slept through without waking up. You know what that means. Cami slept from 10 pm to 8 am this morning. I can't believe it. I woke up this morning wondering if she was still breathing. She is doing just fine, I know this will not be the continuing rutine, but it was nice even if it is just once.

And the feeling is . . .
Today while watching our favorite show "Blue's Clues", Carson learned all about feelings and how to recognize them. His favorite is ANGRY, he loves to pretend to be angry by putting his hands on his hips, with scrunched up eyes and mouth and growl. It is so funny to see.
He gave me quite a surprise when I went to get Cami last night to feed her. I turned to check on Carson and to my surpise he was not in his bed asleep, like he should be. Where could he have gone? I looked around the room and he was gone. So I turned the light on and continued to look around the house. We finally found him fast asleep under Cami's crib. I didn't even think his head could fit under there, but it does! What a silly boy!
Cami started smiling today for the first time. She is so beautiful! Her big cheeks are so fun to see when she is smiling! I just got done making some brownies with my assistant chef, Carson. He always is saing, "My turn, my turn!" and when I hand over the spoon he stirs for a while and has to test it out by sticking his finger in and licking it. That is the only way to cook!!!
I have my NCAA tourney bracket filled out with Duke winning. Let the best woman win!!

Coming back to life!
As most know we had our little Cami May Feb 7th and I am finally getting my energy and motvation back. It is so good to be alive!!! I'm really getting used to having two kids. Although I can't spend 100% of my time with each one, they are both patient enough to share me. Cami is sleeping so well and only gets up once a night! Carl says that I am spoiled because I have such great kids, but I believe it's because I am such a great mom! :)
Carson is very independent and knows what he wants. He now knows that when I am feeding Cami I can't jump up as fast to make him obey, so he is enjoying his freedom. The other day he was in the sugar canister eating sugar by the spoon full and man it was everywhere. That same day, he was helping me pot some plants and I had to go in and help Cami for a minute and when I came back out he had one in the pot with no leaves. What a huge helper! I love that kid, but man does he keep me busy!
Another bonus to "coming back to life" is that I get to continue working on some home improvement projects. A couple of days ago Carson and I painted Carl and my's bedroom. It feels good to be doing stuff again and getting out.
