Happy Birthday, Jexton

Carson went to his best buddies 4th birthday party last week. Carson loved it. Julie had made super hero capes for all who attended. They had a scavenger hunt to find the Joker pinata and then beat him up. It was quite fun and creative. The Woodhouse family were the first family to really welcome us into this area and we will forever be grateful for them and their craziness. They make us feel right at home.
All you can see is Carson's little eyes poking over Alexis's head.
Happy Birthday, Buddy!

VERY BIG SIDE NOTE:
Cami can now wear pig tails in her hair. SO CUTE! I love my little girl!

Room Makeover

Well, We were feeling pretty brave one week when Carl was out of town for business and finally got to do what I've been wanting to do for so long. Paint the kid's rooms. There is only one picture of Carson's room for a reason. I'm still deciding if I actually like it or not. But, Cami's room is awesome. I love everything about it. The color is so clean and fresh and her! Not to mention that it happens to be my Mom's favorite color. We had a great time doing it together. Carson loved feeling so responsible with the paint brush and actually worked really hard. He loves Lightning McQueen, thanks to Grandma Rupp and the Cars movie she gave him for Christmas. I love that it is so much more HIS room now. He loves being in there and looks at those cars all day. I sure love my kids!!!

Warm January days!

Yeah! I did it. I've tried before to blog earlier this month and it just wasn't working. It was either my computer wasn't cooperating or my kids. So finally I have a bit of time to share some fun pics of January. During the first part of January we had some great sunny warmer days. We couldn't help but just be outside. It's crazy how we have only had about 3 months of winter, yet we are so itchen' to be back outside. My kids wouldn't have it any other way. We even took one morning to walk to the park while Carson rode his bike. He loves the bike he got for Christmas and is doing so well on it. Lately since it's gotten colder he rides it around inside the house. He needs something like that!!!
Yes, Cami is standing by herself, but that is as far as we have gotten. I am so okay with her still crawling around. She is already too much into everything so walking would just add to her curiousity.

While Dad was away for meetings we had FHE and Cami was in charge of the treat, my way of saying lets do something EASY. So we just had pudding from the plastic cups. Carson was just diggin' in like usual and some flew out of the cup onto his nose. He thought it was quite hiliarious and so did I. It was a fun night, Although we did miss Dad!!!

LET IT SNOW!

One of the best things about going up to Kamiah is the sledding. Great hills, great tubes, great company, great fun! We had a blast!

JOY TO THE WORLD!

We had an amazing Christmas this year. We were able to head home to Kamiah with Carl's family. It was full of laying around, playing games, canning, sledding, king of the tube(which I WON!), and just being with family. It's so nice to get away for just a little bit to relight my fire. I feel happier and more relaxed. Thanks to Grandma Garla and Papa for a great week! We miss you so much and are glad we got to spend that time with you.

The day we meant to leave we got so much snow that we decided to turn back. There were snow drifts above our car and a snow plow had to dig itself out of there in order to move. We were so glad to have just one more day with family. Thanks for a great time!!!
Carson was pretty excited about these guns. I'm not quite sure if Carl got them for Carson or for himself. I'm just glad there are two so they don't have to share!!

Carl and I made blankets for the kids and Cami loved it. It was so nice and soft, she rolled around in it for a while.

Have you ever seen a kid so excited to get clothes for christmas?
