I WON A GAME

So I am on a family Fantasy Football League and I have lost every single game until this last weekend. The ironic thing is that I meet my dear, sweet sister Amber who has not lost a game yet. I know I don't deserve all the credit, I would like to dedicate this win to my husband. He has been there through thick and thin. He has spent many hours dedicated to making my team number one and this one's for you, Babe. You are the best! Do It Up Rupps!!!

Carson's 3rd Birthday Party

I just can't believe my once little boy is already three years old. We had a great day! He woke up wanting a big birthday breakfast of his favorite cereal, Marshmallow Maties! I'm usually not one for big parties, but Carson has been talking about his birthday party for about 2 months now. He knew who he wanted to come, what kind of cake, and what he wanted.

So we started about noon with a big pizza party and we played the good ol' birthday games like pin the tale on the donkey, but it was pin the cone on the construction site, musical chairs, feed the elephant, the moderized pinata with pulling stings instead of hitting it with a bat (Thanks Joanna!), and ofcourse opening presents and eating cake. All in all it was a huge success. We looked forward to it so much, but I am so glad it is over. Carson was spoiled (he deserves it!) We had awesome friends come over and it was very fun! Carl was able to come home for his lunch break, so he helped so much!

Carson loves his Jexton!

Thanks Grandma Garla, I love the song "Ol McDonald!" The tractor works well in the dirt too!
Here is Carson anxiously waiting to pull the string

We were all so surprised that it finally broke open!
This is the big cake. It was a really neat idea to make a train out of little debbie snacks. Very quick and easy! (my middle name!) Ofcourse, Ash, I wouldn't have refused one of your fancy cakes if you would have came!!

Lately Carson loves the story of the Three Little Pigs. He always says, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll . . . "

BLOW MY CANDLES OUT!!

My cute Little Hallie,

Julie and Cami. I sure love my girls

The "Carving of the Pumpkin"

Last night for FHE Carson decided it was time for us to carve the pumpkin. So I tried getting online to get some ideas, but ultimately decided that it needed to be painted instead of carved. Maybe it was because Carson could do most of it all by himself and we wouldn't have to push him away from the knives when we carved, but mostly I think it was because I didn't want to make a huge mess. All in all, it was a good decision. Carson had a blast painting it and actually did a great job. His first marks were eyes, nose, and a mouth. He decided it should be a happy pumpkin and not scary.

Funny Faces

Yeah, once again it has been a while. We really haven't been up to a whole lot, but EVERYTHING. Isn't it funny how you can be so busy, yet not doing anything. I just can't believe the time that flies by when I'm having so much fun. The past couple of weeks I've been shocked that it is already the weekend. Wow. I guess I could really take in the cousel the prophet gave about finding joy in the journey. I'm enjoying it, it's just going to darn fast. Here are just a few pictures in process.
