Rain, Rain, Go Away

Well it has been offically raining every day for a week now. I can't beleive it! It will take an hour or two break every now and then but, for the most part, it is pretty constant. I waited a couple of hours after it stopped and decied to get out and mow my lawn, by the time I had got done it was already raining. I'm sure it is great for the farmers, but can we spread it out to every other day at least?

Carson had a his friend Katie come over to play today and brought her kitchen set with her. It was so hilarious. Carson had on her high heels and apron as he served me grapes on a plate and telling me to blow on it because they were hot. He is such a cook or maybe just a food lover like his mom. Whenever I am in the kitchen preparing anything he is right there beside me along the way. It's great company, but somtimes I would like to make somthing without messing up the WHOLE kitchen.

Carl and I are so funny! I bought an old Nitendo 64 with 5 games at a yard sale last weekend for $7 ( I know great deal eh?) and now we play that Mario Cart racing game. It is so fun! I of course win most of the time, but he is a good sport, MOST of the time!!!

Tonight we had the missionaries over for dinner and one of them is from Montana as well. I told him Jennie went to the state track meet up there in Helena for C school in the High Jump and he said that his sister went in Hight jump as well. What a small world. Little did he know that my sister kicked his sister's behind! GO Jennie. I am so dang proud of her!

I just got done reading the book Twilight. It was a great, fast read. Very entertaining and creepy in some parts, but I for the most part enjoyed it. My friends and I am starting up a book club and this is the first book we read. It will be fun to read different types of books and get to know the gals more.

Happy Birthday, Carl!

Yesturday was my birthday and Carl decided he wanted to do something nice. So he called up our friends and asked if they could watch the kids so that we could go out to eat. When we got there we saw that is was someone else's birthday as well and some waitresses made her wear a big sombrero and sang to her. I told Carl that he better not tell them it was my birthday because that would be just to darn embarrasing. He agreed he wouldn't, but said that I would do it to him if it was his birthday. That's just the kind of person I am. Later while we were enjoying our yummy food, I excused myself and told one the waitresses that is was my husband's birthday and that he didn't want me to say anything and would probably deny it if they did something to him. So with a big smile she said that she would take care of it. Later that evening 5 people gathered together and brought Carl his sombrero and fried icecream. Carl looked so confused and said "It's not my birhtday it's her's." I said, "Babe, come on, just let them sing to you, stop denying it." He was a good sport and laughed during the whole thing. Needless to say I was able to enjoy my dessert without the humiliation!
