Official Christmas Card

Well it’s that time of year again where we all reflect a little on this years events. I usually love sending out Christmas cards, but I figured I could save a little by sending via the blogger. Gotta love that—FREE!

This year has brought us a lot of joy. Our first big joy came in February. Cami was born and things will never be the same. She is now ten months and is so fun! She is such a happy and smiley baby. She has popped out her two bottom front teeth and is crawling everywhere. She is flirting with the idea of standing on her own, but I don’t like the idea of my baby becoming a little girl. I guess there is nothing I can do about it though—just love and savor every moment with her.

The other Big joy in our life is of course Carson. He has changed a lot this year from my little boy into a big kid and he will let you know it, “Mom, I just a kid.” Before turning three in October he crossed the big potty training mile stone. I really didn’t think he was ready, but we gave it a big ‘ol try and sure enough he was. I am so proud of him. He has been attending JOY School which a few of us mothers here in Winnemucca have put together. It’s been fun for the both us. He loves going and as learned all of his letters and their sounds. I am amazed at how much he has learned this year.

I really shouldn’t elaborate too much. I guess the cool thing about this blog is that if you are really interested in what happened this year in the life of the Rupps, you can look through the archives.

The biggest thing I have learned this year is the advice our Prophet has given to “Find Joy in The Journey.” I often feel as if life is happening way to quickly, but I need to jump aboard and feel that joy instead working so hard to make it.

Most of all, during this season we at the Rupp home, wish you the best Christmas Ever filled with love and JOY! We love you and are so grateful for you!

With lots of love
Carl, Kate, Carson, and Cami

Snowman the Snowman

We have really been trying to get into the holiday spirit and it wasn't until the snow came that we really felt it. I AM SO THERE NOW!!! When we got back from Thanksgiving we put the tree up and the rest of the Christmas decorations. Which really isn't much, but it does make a big difference. After the big snow we had to get out and play in it. Carson wasn't as much into the snow man making as he was the snow ball throwing, but we had a great time anyway. I asked what we should name the snow man and he thought Snowman would be perfect. We had a great time. Later that day we were able to go carroling with some of our friends. We had a great time and everyone was good sports. It was really fun, thanks guys!!

Thankful for Thanksgiving

Thanks MOM for Thanksgiving, It was the best yet!!!

Thanksgiving is by far my most favorite holiday. A time for family, eating, and relaxation. We

were so lucky to be able to head to good ol Montana to spend it with my family in my parents new beautiful home. It was filled with hunting, watching BYU v Utah game, taking pictures, playing games, Black Friday early morning shopping, watching new releases, haning out, eating, cooking, and just being together.

Here is Carl's newest catch. Although he looks like he is straining, he is actually upset he didn't get the bigger dear he missed earler.

Didn't mean to gross you out, but that's life.

I just love all my neices and nephews!!!

Here is a shout out to my awesome sisters. Thanks for being so amazing. I am grateful to have you all in my life!!!
