Once a Golden Fall Time . . .

It has been a while since I've written. To be honest with you, my dear friend blogger has not been my friend lately. I've spent a good portion of the day working on kinks and after a few hours working on it, I have finally gotten things straightened out. Not to even mention, that I have to give a "spill" tonight for enrichment on blogging and the benefits of it.

ANYWAY, here are just a few pictures of the fun things we have been up to:

Carson just loves to jump over Cami, as much as it scares me, she loves it, so what can you do?
If you know anything about Carson, you know that he loves his chocolate "milp" with a straw. He can't drink it without one(along with hot choclate). His latest craze is blowing bubbles.

He is also our photographer. He loves to take pictures and does a pretty good job sometimes. Like mother like son!

My Cami girl is eating just about everything now, except for the baby food. Her favorite ofcourse is ice cream.

We had the opportunity to go to the Temple with the youth this month. It was a great experience, except for the getting up at 5am with the kids. My good friend, Johannah, offered to stay outside the temple with all the kids while Mandy and I went in with the youth for Baptisms. I love being in the temple and feeling the peace! It was way overdue!

The next weekend was Carl's 28th birthday! WOW, 28! It sure is amazing how time flies. We had plans to go out to eat and be together for his birthday, then his friend, Jared, asked if Carl would go with him to the BYU/Wyoming game. Carl just couldn't pass it up. They had an awesome time even though BYU slaughtered Wyoming. We missed him,
(Another Carson original)
but I was kinda happy to have the day to paint my kitchen and have my friend Julie decorate it for me. It feels so much more like home now. It makes a big difference to have a home where you and your children feel comfortable. WE NEED that in a world today where things are not always what they seem. Carl got two nice soft air pellot guns for his birthday. They are a lot of fun, and Carson loves them! We are so lucky to have Carl in our life! He is the most kind and genuine person! I've never heard him say a bad thing about anyone. What an easy guy to get a long with! Any guy who can put up with me, has to be pretty Aweosme! Sure love ya, Babe!

Just Another Day In Paradise!

Just a cute pic of Cami and Kara

Here are some more slip and slide highlights with our friends.

I love this picture of Cami loving her Dad. She is just to comfy!

We had a great Labor Day weekend! We started out with the carnival. It was Carson's first experience riding carnival rides. He wasn't too sure about it for the first little bit, but ended up loving it. We let him do whatever he wanted to. Carl even tried to get him to go with him on the 'tilt-a-whirl' and Carson just found something less tilty and whirly. His favorite was the motor cycles. He had a great time!!!

The next morning we went to the town parade. Carson loved all the candy and especially the dancing horse. it was quite a site. Later that day after the big BYU game, we went to the rodeo and enjoyed a good burger and entertainment. Later when I asked Carl if he liked it, he said, "The riders were alright, but he cattle looked real nice!" I sure love my hick!

After Church on Sunday, we headed out for the night to go camping with some friends. We had a great time. We went about 1 1/2 hours from Winnemucca through the canyon. It was a nice drive. When we got out of the car it was about 58 degrees. I thought that was cold until the sun dropped. The milk we had for breakfast froze. we woke up with frost all over. Thank goodness for the car bottle warmer we had or Cami would not have been able to eat. It was cold, but we had a great time. We are so lucky to have such great friends here in this area!

Well, I just couldn't put it off any longer. Carson HAD to start going pee pee int he potty! I got this book from a friend called potty training in a day, it was amazing. I was really skepical aobut it, but Carson has done so amazing. We had his potty party on Friday and he loved it. We had a great time teaching his NEW bear to go potty and then after we taught Bear, he knew enough to know he shoud go on the potty too. By Sunday, he stayed dry the whole time at church and today he went in all by himself and came out all done. I am so proud of him! He is so smart and knows a lot more than I give him credit for! YEAH, back to only one in diapers!
